The Boston sports media is just despicable. Boston is the greatest sports city in the world, the city of champions, yet all these old alpha assholes working for weei and 98.5 the sports hub never have faith in any of our teams, even when they have the best records in their respective leagues. In August they wrote off the sox saying that our bullpen wasn’t good enough to win us the world Series, and then what happened? our bullpen carried us to a world series after one of the most dominant seasons in the history of our team. Then they said the patriots weren’t the same this year. They said our defense was slow, Brady isn’t the same player he was last year, and Gronk is a corpse of him former self then what happened? Brady through for 350 yards in the first two rounds of the playoffs, our defense held the best offense in the league to 3 points in the super bowl, and Gronk had 87 yds and a huge catch that led to the first and only touchdown of the superbowl which eventually led to us winning the game. So as you can see there a bunch of fuckin idiots.
Now they are writing off the Bruins and Celtics. The Bruins are on a 15 game point streak going 11-0-4 in that stretch. We have been going the fuck off and we don’t even have pasta right now who is our best goal scorer. He is one of the best goal scorers and just all around players in the league, he’s the future of the team, and he’s got swag for days and we’re going the fuck off without him. Yet the Boston media is saying that we didn’t do enough at the trade deadline to get past Tampa. What a bunch of ignorant fucks. First of all, I really don’t think we needed to make any moves to have a chance of getting past Tampa. but despite that we added two really good players to our team. Charlie Coyle was having a great season with the Wild before coming to Boston and then he scored a shootout goal in his first game with the Bruins. Then we added Marcus Johansson who has been a solid player since he entered the league, though he’s had a slow start to the season with New Jersey to start the season but he got an assist against the Sharks in his first game with the Bruins. So I really think we have a solid chance of winning the cup with this team, I would even say that once Pasta gets back with the way we’ve been playing we might just be straight up better than Tampa. So you old hags can stop shitting on the Bruins.
Now let’s move onto the Celtics. This season has kind of been a roller coaster, at times putting me into a deep dark depression like the one I’m in now. But I still believe in this team and everyone else should to. This team is so goddamn talented, starting from the bottom we’ve got Robert Williams the “Timelord”, Guerschon, Semi Ojeleye who is having a great season, then we’ve got Daniel Theis who is always effective, and Aaron Baynes who is one of the best rim protectors in the league and who always makes this team better.
Then there’s all of our extreme talents like Jaylen Brown and our guys who are even better than him. Jaylen is extremely athletic, he can jump like 30 feet while running 50 miles an hour. He has proven to be a great defender. with his length and athleticism he can lock players up and guard just about every position. On top of his athleticism and and defense he has a solid jumper. He’s shooting 45% from the field and 32% from the field, which isn’t spectacular but it’s solid and he always seems to hit big shots. Gordon Hayward is a former all star who isn’t quite himself yet but he’s shown flashes of what he once was. Then theres Marcus Morris who is the most consistent shooter in the league right now. The other Marcus, Marcus Smart is possibly the most important player on this team. He can pass, dribble, he’s improved his 3pt shot to 35% from the field and he is my front runner for defensive player of the year. Not only is Marcus just the best perimeter defender in the league, but he can guard every position, he even can lock down centers in the post which is wild, and he just makes more huge hustle plays than any other player in the league. Tatum is one of the best young stars in the league, he’s a great scorer similar to Paul Pierce and KD and because of his length he’s a good defender. Then theres Al Horford who has been just spectacular. We are always better when the ball moves through him. Al is a great passer, scorer and is able to completely dominate some of the best centers in the league defensively. Now the main reason we can make a run in the playoffs, Kyrie mother fucking Irving. He can score whenever the fuck he wants and is playing better defense than he ever has and we all know he’s gonna turn it the fuck up in the playoffs. I mean this guy carried Lebron James and Cleveland to a Championship win over the Warriors, so I trust him to at least get us to the finals
