My whole life I have loved to ski fast and fucking send it. The feeling of hucking yourself 50 feet while going mach 5 can only be compared to racing go carts on ecstasy. I’m never having more fun than when I’m fucking flying on skis. And yet some gapers who work in resort management think that is bad and dangerous to the public and they’re solution is to put stupid orange signs all over the place telling you to ski like a Joey. I do not fuck with that shit.
I am putting no one in danger. The only people putting anyone in danger are the shitty ass skiers that stand under a blind null and ski with zero rhythm. The only reason anyone ever gets hit on the slope is because some fucking Joe bag decides to stop in somewhere no one could see him and gets smoked by some guy like me who is skiing perfectly in control. But then they complain that I’m going too fast even though that doesn’t matter because they weren’t even visible until I had already plowed through them. Thats like complaining about getting hit by another car when you’re parked in the middle of the highway.
And the thing is these slow signs honestly make the hill more dangerous. Because the sign isn’t gonna stop me or anyone else like me from going fast, and they help form bad habits. These signs are always right on a null so Joeys think that means the should stop right after them in the middle of the trail which is just preposterous. And then this makes it so that the Joeys do this on every trail even where there are no slow signs and they just get fucking wrecked by actual good skiers.
So in conclusion, mountains need to get rid of these death trap slow signs and let me ski however fast I fuckin want. Fuck off Joe bags.
