I do not give a fuck about my everyday clothes. I just have some sweats, three pairs of jeans, some shirts, and like 3 sweatshirts. But when it comes to skiing I care so much more about what I am wearing. I have multiple pairs of boots, multiple pairs of pants, like 5 coats, 3 pairs of goggles each with a bunch of lenses, and like 20 neckies. I drop so much fucking money on ski gear and then like all of my regular shirts were free. I don’t know why the fuck I do this because in reality its better to look like a joey on the hill than to look like a total fucking goob in every day life. But I think that most of us hardcore skiers don’t really live in reality. We live in a world wear all we think about is shredding, we’re always in the fucking mountains so regular life doesn’t matter to us. We think what we do is so sick that everyone else should just be doing that as there regular life but it is not. And skiers are also constantly judging people based on what they look like on the hill and if you’re a skier you know that so you don’t want people thinking you suck about skiing. But skiing is the only thing I care about enough to worry about shit like that.
