There are skiers of all shapes and sizes. There are old dudes, young dudes, uptight rich people, little park rats, hardo racer douches, and even some fatties that ski. And besides their love for skiing, most of these skiers have one thing in common. We fucking love to smoke weed.. well maybe not the uptight rich people they’re fucking 10 ply, but even they’ll surprise you every once in a while.
A lot of the time when we smoke on hill we’ll just spark on the lift or in the woods right off of the trail. But sometimes you need that spot on the hill where you can really enjoy a nice sply. A spot where you and the boys could kick back drink some beers, smoke some sply’s and then get back to fucking shredding. We’ve got a couple places like that here at loaf. We of course have the world famous “The Office” and then there is the smoke hut that the snow makers made. Last year on reggae my friend spike took some shrooms and then just zonked out on a bench and we came back an hour later and he was still just fuckin chillin there. That’s the kind of spot I’m talking about where you can just fuckin chill.
If you want an on hill smoke spot its gotta be right though, there are a few things that really make a good smoke spot.
First off its gotta be out of the way but not too out of the way. It needs to be a spot where no one is going to find it unless they are trying to. You don’t want to risk a group of groms sking through while you spark, but you also don’t want to have to fucking trek to get to it. The entrance needs to be almost hidden.
There also has to be some solid sitting spots, maybe even furniture. This is a must. If you are planning on really taking a load off you need some fucking sitting spots. Whether it be a nice rock, a fallen tree, a ski bench, or maybe even a nice couch you need somewhere to sit. And if you can have a shelter to cover you while you smoke thats even better.
Finally it needs to be big enough for all the homies to hang out in. On a nice spring day when your’e getting really fuckin liqoured you might find that you’ll end up just partying at the smoke spot all day after taking a couple runs. You need a big spot for this because hopefully if you’re doing it right you’ll be drinking there with your crew and then more people will circle through throughout the day and you’ll just get fuckin banged up with them. Cus spring is the time to get as fucked up while skiing as you possibly can.
