Aspen Is Partnering With TSA To Set Up Security Checks At Major Lifts For Ikon Pass Holders.

Aspen Snowmass will be instituting a new level of security screening for Ikon pass holders with the help of the TSA next season. Beginning in the fall of 2019 all Ikon pass holders will be have to go through a mandatory security checkpoint to enter major chairlifts and gondolas.  TSA agents will ask that you remove your ski and snowboard boots to pass through x-ray screening and goggles will be removed to confirm identities. -Unofficial networks

Well now just what the fuck is this shit. This is the biggest piece of tom fuckery I’ve seen all year. Those cockasses at Aspen are now working with the god damn TSA to make security checkpoints at major lifts. Skiers and riders will now have to take off their boots and goggles everytime they want to get on these lifts. This is an absolute catastrophe. You would think that when you drop a fuck load of money on an IKON pass that you would have to put up with less dumb bullshit but Aspen seems to think otherwise.

If I had to take my boots and goggles off just to get on the lift I would quit skiing forever. It takes like 10 minutes to take your boots on and off, so if you do that every time you’re getting on the left you get like max 5 runs in that day. There’s just no point in skiing if I know I’m going to be harassed and babysat while I’m doing it. And I swear to god if these fuckers are going to take peoples weed from them, I will go to Aspen right now and squeeze out a Cleveland steamer on the owners desk.

This actually reminds me of a blog I wrote a couple weeks ago titled “Liftys are turning into TSA”. Who knew Aspen was a fan of mine? Thats the only way I could actually see them coming up with this idea. Because anyone who would think this is a good idea clearly doesn’t know shit about skiing. And thats what is going wrong with the industry right now. All these rich assholes working for vail, aspen, boyne, ect, don’t give a rats ass about creating the best skiing experience possible. They just want to get millions of fucking idiots to overpay for a day pass and then spend the whole day in the lodge, that’s their goal. Skiing and skiers just do not matter to these fuckgiraffes.
