What in the fuck? That was probably the most hyped I’ve ever been watching a skate comp. It was such a weird and exciting finals it was fucking awesome. The judges were being pretty loose with the scores and not factoring in one fall as a huge deduction, the course was fucking sick like probably my favorite xgames street course ever and then some crazy shit happened on run 3. At the start of run 3 this is what the standings looked like:
Then Dashawn Jordan came out and threw down my favorite run of the day to go from worst to first. He had a sick 270 lip slide, then fuckin put on for that boardslide UP the longest rail in the course and that tre flip nose slide for the ender was one of the moistest things I’ve ever seen. I fucking love Dashawn, he skates hard as fuck and is the definition of the word steeze. He’s prolly the coolest guy in skateboarding right now. Other than Manny Santiago of course.
Then Yuto through down a 90 to move himself out of 6th up into second and that back 180 to switch front feeble was so fucking erotic. Im getting all clammed up just writing about. But of course Yuto did this cus the kid is a fucking skateboarding robot. He’s got dope style but the methodical way he skates and how easily and quickly he can just rip out tricks is super robotic.
I honestly don’t even know what the fuck Nyjah is at this point. He is just so god damn good at skating it makes my head hurt. For a second I thought maybe he wasn’t going to win or maybe not even medal because he wasn’t even on the podium at the start of run 3 and that never happens so I thought maybe it just wasn’t his day but boy was I wrong. He came out and from the second he landed that front kick flip nose slide it was clear that he was fucking dialed in. And then he just went ahead and executed the run perfectly from there. And then tossed his best trick from SLS London on for an unreal ender that made him the clear winner. Now some people are saying that Dashawn should’ve won cus his run was better and thats just so false. Dashawn’s run was sick that boardslide up the rails was awesome and he got me fucking unbelievably hyped but it wasn’t better than Nyjahs. I said that Dashwan Jordans run was my favorite of the day earlier and I stand by it. Dashawn had my favorite most stoked run, then Yuto had the best rick of the day by far with that switch front feeb. But as far as difficulty and execution Nyjahs run was clearly above the other two. He is the greatest to ever do it, he’s like the Brady of Skating. You just can’t count him out until the competition is over because no matter how bad Nyjahs first two runs are there’s about a 95 percent chance that he’s just gonna come out and have a perfect 3rd run and win his 10th gold medal. And that’s why I root for him. I root for him because it’s crazy to see someone win as much and be as dominant as he is, or the Patriots, or Warriors. He’s just fucking INSANE
