Its July 3oth, Trevor Bauer is a Cincinnati Red and Marcus Stroman is a New York…wait for it…MET! Two teams who are certainly not making the playoffs this year, and most likely not for a couple more years at least. Needless to say this years trade deadline has been more than weird. It seems like Brian Cashman is not straying from whatever plan he has in mind. Theres only starter left I would want in pinstripes, and his name is Robbie Ray of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Ray is sporting a a 3.91 ERA this season in 129 IP accompanied by 173 Strikeouts, putting him at 8th in the MLB in that category. I say only Ray and not Syndergaard because I don’t believe the Mets would be open to trades with the Yanks. The Mets front office is somehow under the impression that Gleyber Torres is available, now thats just a crock of shit. The Giants are somehow in the Wild Card race so who knows whats going to happen with Mad Bum, if I had to bet on it he is going to stay put out in the bay.
