Coronavirus is really fucking my shit right now. I just broke my collarbone so I can’t ski or work and I’m bored out of my fucking mind, going bananas in my tiny little condo. The only thing that’s been keeping me sane was watching the Bruins, Celtics and Xgames but now corona is fucking that shit up for me too.
The NBA suspended its season indefinitely last night and then immediately this morning the NHL suspended their season, saying they hope to finish the season though and will have the rinks ready through july. Then later today the MLB postponed their season indefinitely and now March Madness is cancelled. Then the last straw was when it decided to break into the ski world. That shit ain’t cool corona. Now World Cup finals next week are canceled, the U.S freeski team has pulled out of all competition for the rest of the season and is returning its athletes back to the U.S, and USASA nationals has been canceled.
Now that this weekends races are canceled for the women and next weeks World Cup Finals are canceled, the World Cup Racing season is over. There could have been a few changes in the standings these next couple weeks especially with Mikaelas possible return to try and regain the overall title from Federica Brignone. This is the first time she hasn’t won it in 3 years and it sucks that her season ended like this. First her father tragically passed so she understandably had to pull out of the next couple races. And then right when shes ready to come back Coronavirus just fucks everything up. I’m putting it out there right now though that Mikaela is going to have a perfect season next year. She’s gonna be pissed with how this year ended and how she got fucking robbed and then come back next year and just win fucking everything.
So the U.S freeski is no longer competing in any U.S domestic events for the rest of the season. And now all of the athletes are working on getting back to the U.S. This kinda sucks but luckily because of the nature of freestyle skiing it wont be that bad. All of These guys will still be skiing in the U.S and I bet with all the free time they are going to have not competing they’ll been putting out lots of edits.
So Corona is a real fucking pain in my ass. They better not start closing resorts and shit because of coronavirus just takes out skiing all together, my rage will know no bounds. And if this thing fucks with reggae fest then I will not fucking sleep until I find a cure.
